Venezuela is going through one of the most complicated moments of the year and this recent events might actually started a “New Revolution” inside this intense conflict between the population and the illegally established government of Nicolás Maduro. Right now the situation got extreme as Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin fight in the shadows for a victory over the continent.
1 – During the last hours, opposition leader, Leopoldo Lopez, was freed from “House Arrest” apparently by a group led by a big part of the Air Force Command. This means that part of the army, the main power in which Maduro relies on and uses to hold on to the government, might be splitting already.
2 – Juan Guaidó, the elected President of Venezuela according to the democratic procedure, was also part of this move and now both opposition leaders are starting massive protests all around the country in order to end Maduro’s regime. Is this the correct timing?
3 – While more than 60 people have already been reported injured and one dead during this riots, many sources start to talk about how this process started. According to reports from this platform in Caracas, members from the Supreme Court of Justice and “High commanders inside the Air Force” made an agreement with US Special Forces operating in Venezuela during the liberation of Lopez.
4 – Apparently the CIA has been operating in the shadows since Donald Trump became the President of the United States and recent comments of the Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, (Maduro was getting ready to flee the country but Russia talked him out of the idea) make this situation more clear. On the other side, Vladimir Putin has been trying for a long time to establish a Russian base in Venezuela (many cargo planes from the Kremlin landed in Caracas during the last year) and the possibility of Maduro losing power would look bad for his position as the main rival of the West.
5 – Latest events say that the “Uprise” against the dictatorship led by Maduro “failed” while sources in Venezuela confirm that the possibility of a civil war is now bigger than before as of the tension inside the army.
