UPDATE : Oregon is hit with a 6.4 Earthquake which could potentially transfer that energy towards the south of the West Coast, Yellowstone and Utah. Independent scientists keep an alert as of various theories that link this kind of movements to “stronger” shakes hours or a few days after.

  • Another “big” Earthquake hit Ridgecrest, California with a 5.0 according to USGS. Many aftershocks are already reported and geologists debate if this is actually a foreshock as it happened before. Intense Activity in the Pacific North East.

EVENTS

The swarm of Earthquakes in Ridgecrest along the Searles Valley did not stop and many geologists are studying if magma is getting closer to the ground. As we mentioned before, is there a relation between this event and more wildfires (California Wildfires might be related to Earthquakes).

While USGS think Yellowstone is not a problem right now, Hawaii is starting to raise some concerns as small earthquakes start to hit the surrounding of Kilauea and Mauna Loa. If all the magma chambers are connected: Is one of the suppose to receive a big “energy push” anytime soon?
