According to Los Angeles Fire Officials, so far 5 homes have been destroyed and 10,000 structures have been under threat. Just before 7:00 AM, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti signed an emergency declaration in the county which allotted additional resources to support firefighters and first responders battling the flames.

In addition, evacuation warnings have been issued for all of Topanga Canyon as well as South of Sunset Blvd, North of Mulholland Drive and East of Mandeville Canyon.
