US Intelligence Agencies reported today that the son of former Al-Qaeda Leader, Osama Bin Laden, Hamza Bin Laden, is dead. There is no more evidence that confirms this report but according to this platform’s sources, the report is based on “facts”.

WHO WAS HAMZA BIN LADEN?

Hamza Bin Laden was the leader of Al-Qaeda. As son of Osama Bin Laden and probably around 33 years old according to latest reports, he swore to avenge the death of his father. The “rebirth” of Al-Qaeda has been happening during the last 3 years and most of the Intelligence Agencies in the Middle East pointed to Hamza Bin Laden and hist resources.

During the time he was “leading” Al-Qaeda, he released videos and communications calling to all his allies to “launch attacks against the United States and its allies”.

WHAT HAPPENED?

White House sources told this publication that the US “was involved” in this operation that ended with the life of Hamza Bin Laden. There are more details suppose to be unveiled and many reports are saying that the actual “operation” took place somewhere in Pakistan. When did this happened? Probably during the last year that US Special Forces have been looking for him as of the reward offered by the US State Department: $1 million dollars.

WHAT IS NEXT?

Saudi Arabia knew about Hamza Bin Laden’s role with the rebirth of Al-Qaeda and revoked his saudi citizenship. If his death is confirmed and the White House issues a formal communication regarding this situation, it is very likely that the warning level in most of the operative stations of US and Western Forces in the Middle East, Asia and Africa will be increased.
Al-Qaeda is not ISIS. This terrorist organization is older and has more funds (Al-Qaeda and Yemen) . The ties of its top leaders go from Venezuela, to Spain, Sudan and Malaysia jus for starters. With the US increasing its presence in the Middle East tension will increase and the absence of a leader like Bin Laden might spark new conflicts in the region.
